So we went to the zoo on Thursday, the Toronto Zoo. Boy, did we have fun. :)
Justin had a blast seeing different animals, sitting on stones shaped like animals and just running around seeing things. He played with another little boy named Aaron, pretended to be a cat frequently, and just was a good boy. Surprised me that he managed to stay up ALL day and well past the time we got home. We all went to bed at the same time. A frequent request, whenever he saw something that he really liked was "Justin want go in there too." "go in there too?"
Some pics....NOTE: these are from the camera that died on us. It has been in process of dying for a while, so to have it completely die wasn't a shock, but was a disappointment. So some of the pictures are not so good, some were completely unrecognizable, I picked the best of the lot.
Herein lies fascination with one of the three big aquariums we saw.
BIG fish.
The family of Warthogs, or as Justin and I say, pigs!
He stared at these fellows, asking, where mommy pig?
It was interesting to note that there were Ducks and Canada Geese in almost every exhibit, except where the big cats were. :) Wonder why?
This seemed like an early batch of goslings, looked at least three days old.
What young lad can resist going through a natural Tunnel?
Here Justin played with Aaron for a while.

Doesn't my hubby take good pictures?
I must so recommend going to the zoo in the spring.
The crowds are less.
The animals are out more.
There is room to explore and not get bumped into by people and it is WAY quieter. :)
We will most definitely go to the zoo again in the spring.
Just don't buy the ice cream! WAY too expensive. No more promises by mommy to buy ice cream at the zoo! (promises aught to be kept don'tcha know!)
